Toulon Chicago Project

Picked up a beautiful Toulon Chicago off the BST several months ago, see first set of pictures. Love the putter but decided to update the color scheme, I’m not a big fan of the red with the chocolate finish, and add a flange line. Still deciding on what color to use for the red lettering in the cavity. I’m thinking white but I may try blue. Let me know what you think so far. 
 

Please note, the flange is only done with paint at this time and can be removed with acetone. Depending on how much time the putter sees in the rotation I may send it off to have the flange line milled. Let me know what you think.
 

Trying to find an Odyssey or Toulon head cover that matches the paint scheme. Any suggestions on a head cover are appreciated.

Dirty white or a copper fill would look awesome on that tour chocolate finish. I wouldn't mess with having a flange line milled and a refinish done, but I love the old tour chocolate finish and I am not a flange line guy.

I have a beautiful Toulon Garage Chicago with plumber’s neck also… I interchange a lot of covers but these two are the ones I use the most

Beautiful putter. I have my eye on some of the American Putter company head covers. Have one in Robbins egg blue but it doesn’t work with the royal blue color scheme on my Chicago.

I was hoping a flange line could be milled without ruining the finish.  I too love the chocolate finish. I’m not an expert on milling so I guess I will have to research that before I proceed with any mill work.

It can. I have a tour black finish Madison model and they milled the flange line in after they did the finish - and you can tell because the flange line is raw metal when paint is removed.

Now I have to figure out how to get a plumbers neck to replace my double bend on my Chicago. It’s been sitting dormant for a year because I hate the toe flow in the current setup. Anyone have any ideas as to how to possibly make this happen?

Norcal Putters does neck swaps. I believe Embrace Putters also does but they only accept 'like new' looking putters.

Decided to go with white paint fill in the cavity. I’m happy with the blue, white and brown color scheme. Messed up the flange line a little doing the letters in the cavity but I cannot see it at address so I will fix it later.

It was brand new when I bought it and it has been refinished in satin. I’ll reach out to both on Monday. Thank you!!!
