I am 0 - +2 and play my drivers at 10.5 (Cobra SZ front weight) and 9.5 (Mizuno ST-Z 220 back weight). I have no spin problems and get good distance even in the wind.

Yeah, I like the SZ. I chronicled it's build in this thread. I built the ST-Z this year because I wanted to try the IM10 Low shaft. The specs were exactly what I was looking for. That shaft is VERY tight and solid, more that the Yellow TX. Hard to find sometimes though.

Yes youre the opposite of me then. I like the driver shaft to be lively so I dont feel the need to pull it from the top. Other clubs I like a tighter feel. Did you know these two driver heads were good when hitting down or just trial and error?

Both are considered "low spin", so I just went with that. I've been playing the Cobra drivers at 10.5 since the Fly-Z+. That loft seems to work well with them. I have other Mizuno drivers (JPX850, ST180 & ST190) and I play all of them at 10.5 also. The ST-Z paired with the IM10 just seemed to work better at 9.5 though.

Back when I played Titleist (975 & 905) I played 8.5 - 7.5. I did the same with the earlier Cobra drivers (ACP & BCP) when I switched to them. But the Fly-Z+ just gave me knuckle-balls at low loft. Moving to 10.5 put me right back in my preferred window.

You have one? Happy with it?

Definitely.

The first one I owned was an SLDR. It was a really easy club to use though it wasn't especially long.

Now I have a BRNR 13.5*. This version is optimized for hitting a bit down on the ball while keeping spin numbers in check. I can hit it almost as far off the deck as from a tee. My driver is maybe 8-10% longer depending on the day.

Ive been really curious about those! I doubt it will be much shorter than my driver since my 4w is only like 10 yards shorter than my driver.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
