What are the most durable wedges, and why?

People get surprisingly pissy when Mizuno makes something other than an MP 14/29 clone.

I’m not referring to playability or performance, I’m talking about the materials used between those models. They all play/feel great. 
 

4.0 is a carbon steel wedge with chrome plating, which is the same with the glide pro line. Inherently carbon steel is less durable than any grade of stainless steel, but the finer metallurgy details you can find in a Google search. The other glide models and most prior models were 17-4 or 431 stainless steel. 
 

Most every company outside of ping makes players irons/wedges exclusively with carbon steel. It’ll be very interesting to see what ping does with this upcoming launch since the Glide brand won’t continue.

I’ve always found Cleveland raw wedges (RTx 6 currently) tend to spin through tons of rounds.
