Being a regular BRX player for years and trying the E6, too mushy, the E12 , close but sometimes frustrated by the inability to work the ball, what can I expect from the E9 ? longer for a 100 mph driver swing or just better suited for Long Drive guys?

The e9 LONG DRIVE is def built for increased distance off the tee when compared to e6 and also slightly longer that RX. You will see less workability in the e9 versus the RX, but more shape potential versus the e6 for sure.

I have a followup question. In remember in the past you have teams show up at the range here in Los Angeles like Hansen Dam and you can do a ball fitting and they would recommend a ball.

For me, that was GR8 exposure to Bridgestone golf balls. Do you have any plans to restart this in the near future?

YES! Stay tuned.

How does Bridgestone ball hold up for us have very slow swing speeds

Very well. We pioneered the soft compression golf ball as far back as the Precept MC Lady. As the swing slows down in speed, the core reacts differently and player with slower swings speeds can def see added benefit from a softer core from spin numbers to smash factor.

1. On average, for a 100 yard wedge shot, how much less does the e6 spin compared with a Tour level Bridgestone ball, such as the B RX?

2. Do these incorporate the same technology to reduce side spin as the previous models?

It all depends on the players spin number average, but our data shows that if you are spinning your 100 yard club with the RX around 9,500rpms, then you'd approximately be spinning the e6 golf ball around 2,000 to 2,250 rpms less.

For the lower club head speed guys, which is the better choice - e6 or e12?

This is a tricky question. the e6 is slightly softer and provides great feel. But the e12 CONTACT has added control into and around the green. the e12 will give you slightly more control on wedge shots versus the e6.

How close is the e12 Contact to the 2016-ish e6, which was one of the best non-urethane balls ever?

Pretty darn close with some technology upgrades. The '16 e6 was a monster! That ball has laid the foundation for all e-series golf balls to come after it. Truly was a great model!

What swing speed player will see the most benefit out of the e9 ball?

Most optimized around and above 92mph. Smash seems to rise better right around that swing speed.

With everything else being equal, an optimal Smash Factor close to 1.48 or 1.50?

Yeah, the e6 was a really great ball. I still have a box or 2 of pink ladies e6 balls that I would pull out to mess with my 4some to kick their butt using the pink ball. Damn thing doesn't go as far as a Tour level ball but it was so damn straight... very fun ball

Speaking of which, what is Bridgestone has to help the golfers with eye sight difficulties that needs a ball other than white color? A lot of my friends are playing the red Chromesoft so they can see their ball against the dreaded gray layer in the sky. Or at least be a company that says "hey, we hear you and here's a ball that is easy to spot in the sky and on the ground". I know the purists will chringe at this but when they get to that age, their tune will change...

Great question! Quality is built into our brand beyond even Bridgestone Golf. We have strict guidelines from an over-all brand prospective. Making the first golf ball the same as the 10 millionth golf balls is so important. Consistency and attention to detail is important when producing a mass amount of golf balls over and over and over...!

One of the main concerns of GolfWRXers here when it comes to balls is the durability of cover. We like our balls to last even if we hit a tree or land on the cart path and we don't like splits in the cover or fish scales like the old Callaway Hex balls use to do

Can you talk about the FLEXATIV  cover and what sort of testing Bridgestone has done to ensure it is durable and lasting? It's great to have more contact but it can also mean more contact on stuff other than a smooth iron/driver club face

Thanks
