Srixon ZX7 vs PXG 0317 CB

I have spent the last week searching the internet forums, FB, and YouTube reviews for any comparison between the ZX7 & 0317CB.  Can anyone provide feedback on the difference between FEEL and DISPERSION?  I understand that stock lofts and shaft lengths will make a difference in shot distances.  I am surprised that as long as the 0317 CB has been out.  There hasn't been a forum thread or video review between the two clubs.

Thanks for any feedback!

Have owned and played both.  Feel is going to be the same.  Both very soft.  Dispersion is going to be close as well.   Seems like the zx7 was better on toe side miss just do to it being longer blade length.

pxg - smaller overall, shorter heel to toe, slimmer sole with traditional shape, very compact and square.   Launch mid, spin mid to high.

zx7 - longer heel to toe, wider v sole, has a more rectangular look.  Launch low spin low.

zx7 are great clubs if the sole works for you.  They are one of the few iron heads that kills spin in their stock lofts of for players that tend to spin too much.

Thank you this is just the kind of feedback I was looking for. And I am a very high spin negative angle of attack iron players, so the tricks on may be the better choice.

The ZX7's offer the right amount of playability and forgiveness in a very tidy forged set of irons. All clubs are player dependent,  and PXG also has a hit with the 0317 CB.   Clear choices that can meet one's needs in players irons.

Are you aware of the bounce and V sole on the ZX7?

I am not a fan of that sole design....PXG is the choice.

Definitely not fooling around in the shaft department. Look out ball.😮

Thinking I'd start with the ZX7's, lots of great reviews on the original model, prices are very fair at the moment. Fairly cheap experiment, you could also combo them with the Z945's. Had a set of the 945's, loved the 8-pw.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
