I'll just toss this in the room and then leave.

Radspeed. Adjustability is useful to me. Like the rails.

Just bought a 5 wood on a black Friday sale, original Sim Ti.  Showed up today and it has the below spec sticker.  Anyone help me understand what the specs on this mean?  Mostly interested in "CTA", "CTB", B and R.  Really just looking to make sure this isn't draw bias as I have a tendency to hit occasional hooks with longer clubs.  Also noticed these dots on the face that I think are related to the CG but they seem very off-centered?  Any thoughts?17012919475727764527931453734297.jpg.1c723a7966c6f01f77785fe76cf9717a.jpg

Everyone commenting on the UW being too low spin hasn't hit the current iteration of it. Very versatile club and i believe the spin has been addressed appropriately by Callaway

I hit the new UW and it was spinning too much for me. Keeping my 5 wood.

Its a little hard to see, but if the face angle is 4.8 that would mean it should sit quite a bit open at address. Others may be able to confirm that, but should’t be hitting too many hooks with that baby!

I hope it's not 4.8 either way, I guess we'll seeI. I thought the -0.2 was the face angle.  The 48? shows up on corner of both stickers, wasn't sure what it means.

-.2 is a closed face and it’s upright. Good luck not going left with it.

I could barely even see that in there! Yes, that is absolutely the face angle and would mean that it’s just fractionally closed.

That lie angle is pretty upright as well, may be good for a shorter overall length fairway build. As other posters noted, since face angle is already fractionally closed, adjusting to lower loft to open face angle actually makes TM stuff more upright.

I'm a touch confused.  This is a TM Sim Ti 5W.  Going to TM's site, the 5W (19°) lists lies between 57 and 61°.  So 59.6 is a teensy bit upright in that range.  It's less than a teensy bit closed. (Seriously?  We're freaking out over 0.2°?)  And it's a bit more lofted at 19.3 v 19.0.

Ok.  Different.  Go hit it and see what happens.  Good luck.

I fought a hook for years, and I will say if something looked even the slightest hair closed to me, that thing was hitting snappers all day. So that may not even register on one guys radar and to another it might look like its facing the left field foul pole. Just another reason golf is so tough!

Not freaking out about face angle or the club in general.  I think I'm mostly worried that lie angle is close to 60 in the standard position which by my read is the flattest lie on the adjustment chart. I want to loft down a little which seems like it will only get more upright.

Which is a great point. I don't have any TM adjustable woods, so I'm not familiar beyond TM's chart how they work.

What is the "stock" lie for that Sim 5W?  Is it at the flattest setting, and all changes to loft merely increase lie angle, up to +4° at standard loft and "upright"?  Or is "stock" lie at some intermediate setting on that adapter?

Thanks for bringing this up. I think we bought from the same place. When I received my 3 and 5 wood mine had the same stickers and dots on the face. What does FA, CTA, CTB, B, and R mean? Also are these tour heads? Thanks

Tried the Ping a couple times and it was just too skinny and too short. Ended up ordering a Titleist TSR2 21 degree 7 wood with a Atmos Tour Spec Red 8S.  I'm playing it 1/2" longer to hit it higher and longer to gap to my Rocket 3 wood.  This was a good 20 yards past the Ping 5 Wood.
