Stroke Lab... what grip?

Stroke Lab I just bought on ebay is coming with a Super Stroke grip on it.  I don't like them at all.  Is there a benefit to placing a Stroke Lab grip back on it or just find something I like better?

They also made them with the grey DFX grips, so I assume the tech is in the shaft and not the grip. That grey DFX is really awesome.

You should be able to choose any grip you like. I recently pulled the stock grip off my Versa Three T Stroke Lab because it came askew. The brass counterweight (similar to what you would get at Golfworks) is in the butt of the shaft and not epoxied at all which I appreciated. I'm guessing they're all the same like that so no issue regripping with what you like.

I don't think there is such thing as a "stroke lab grip." The technology is in the shaft.  I would make sure that they didn't pull the counterweight when they installed the SuperStroke, though.

I did this recently.  Plug came out easily. There wasn’t any glue or anything. It weighed 30 grams. Odyssey grip it came with weighed 78 grams.

Great! I’m a little over the top messing with grips and fiddle with SW constantly. I figure these putters don’t work any longer since the AI models came out and might pick one up. 🤣

There absolutely IS an Odyssey Stroke Lab "proprietary" grip. I like it a lot. You can find them online. I would recommend that grip, but also, I would recommend you use the grip you like mostest.

So the putter came with a Superstroke Square SS2R grip.  I surprisingly really like it and i'm gonna leave it on.
