Footjoy or Rhoback or ???

I want to get a new lightweight to midweight 1/4 zip or hoodie. I was recently given a Footjoy Lightweight hoodie and I love it. I like that it has side pockets and not a front pouch. Thinking about getting another one or the q zip version. However, I keep seeing and hearing great things about Rhoback and wondering if I should give them a try. I can get either one for pretty much the same price. Would appreciate any thoughts for those that have both or have tried both.

Rhoback hoodies are really nice similar to the FJ one but without pockets. I think both are great options, I love the material of the Rhoback. Usually you can find a discount code for Rhoback as well.

Footjoy is usually a good go to for quality. I’ve never had anything from rhoback yet though so can’t speak on them either way

I'm really liking Rhoback hoodies. I have two now and I wear them off the course more than anything. 

 

I can't comment on FJ. No offense, but their stuff has always put off an uncool/old man vibe to me.

Ditto. I have two as well and although I wear them on the course occasionally I wear them off the course a lot more. They are honestly one of the most comfortable items of clothing I've ever owned. 

 

That being said I would definitely consider them light to midweight (although midweight may be a stretch). Anything under 50-55 degrees and they aren't going to keep you warm.

Just want to sneak in here and say Greyson has some really nice Q-zips.  I've gotten a few off of the 'bay for well under retail and they have been great.

Thanks for all the input. I found a Rhoback 1/4 zip for a great discount and pulled the trigger. So I’ll have one of each and I can decide which I like the best.

I have two Rhoback hoodies.  I like them for both golf and off the course.

Hard to go wrong with Rhoback, I think they look, size, and feel better than the Footjoy, IMO.

Not hoodie related, but I've actually been impressed with some of the newer Footjoy stuff I've seen in terms of polo design and patterns.  Sleeves are still a little long for me, though.  Not quite Hal Sutton back in the day long, just longer than I prefer.
