Just wanted to update a few recent additions and highlight the 2024 bag:

 

 

The biggest changes recently have been the introduction of two new hybrids and a new 58* Wedge.

 

New hybrids: Titleist 816 H1s from CPO. $57 each.

 

 

 

And the Wedge- Staff Tour Grind 58*

 

 

 

 

So, the current bag breakdown is as follows:

Bag: Accra Shafts Promo Bag ($169 from the Accra website) Outlasted a Titleist Premium Stand bag by over a year.

Overall, super happy with everything in the bag - and I'm playing some good golf with it.

Love seeing some Wilson in the bag.  How you liking the tour grind lob wedge?  Really like the sole design on it.

I've come to really like it, but it's taken some work.

 

I was coming from a very odd, 0* Callaway 58* that I'd had for years and was very comfortable with. Suffice it to say, the Wilson behaves very differently and requires some changes in technique.

 

After some concerted effort, I feel like I've figured out how it wants to be hit, and it is beginning to produce the shots I want around the greens. 

 

Having said that, it does seem very touchy. Loves to hit thin shots if you are not careful. "Bounce rebound" was a big problem in my initial forays with it. 

 

But, if you ensure that your hands are in front of the ball at impact, and it's pretty amazing how high and soft the ball will come out. 

 

Very functional on full swings too. 

 

Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase.
