Using the blue weight which heavier than normal but the 60g shaft balances that out

I figured and that’s why I want to try it. It didn’t cost me much for a brand new build so it was worth the try

Had a 6.5 TX in 70 in at TMAG set up , love it , been oscillating btw 60 and 70 g driver set ups .   SS 116 to 122 depending how loose or course vs driving range.   AOA +3 ish 

 

Testing now Small Batch Green Hulk 6.5tx 60g  with a TSR3 9* but calling it a since we all love the  monikers i.e. Ventus “purple” Red tipped 2” style designations , bc this set up with the green is around 322g I wanted a bit more weight so I went with two weights in the Titleist head, ala Titleist TSRM3.5 paying homage to the old M5 split weight track which I loved that head.  

 

Like the Green so much , if I could obtain a 80g TX shaft for a 3w i would more than try it ,but may have to settle for a RDX blue 80TX , which I know isn’t the but would make a cool trial.

I’m going to be plugging mine into a tsr3 9° as well. What did you tip it and what length are you playing it

I went 3/4 and playing 44.75. I was unsure on tipping so I split what my normal 1 inch was and 1/2. Do you use different weight in heel/toe or the same?

@Gtyler14 & @drbonesvt seems I'm in the same boat with the TSR3. And @PlatinumNike, the Hulk has been in my cart now for about that long too. I'm currently gaming the Tensei AV Raw White - tipped 1". It's a good shaft I was fit into but my flight/spin is a bit too high and feel there is a better option out there. Interested in your experience but I have the hulk 70 6.5TX and a Ventus TR Black 7X in mind. SS is 122 -126 with a very quick transition. Thanks for any assistance / recs here, I realize after typing this out that this may not be the proper thread....

I’m around same swing speed with quick transition. 
 

I finally got to play my Ventus TR 6x on an actual course and man it just feels so good.

 

Super stable, I’m not sure I’d even want to mess with it. Could an other shaft do just as well? Maybe but I like this one haha
 

Paired with Ping G430 LST 

 

I do have an extra Cobra LTDx head so you never know, it may want that green shaft 🫣

Testing the Ventus TR 7X today in an AI Smoke TD. I’d still put it in my TSR3 but I just want to test the feel. 
 

Hulk is tempting but much harder to get my hands on to test here in Louisville, which adds to the temptation….

 

I have a feeling both are solid options and while part of me wants to buy both of them blind, I know testing is the answer.
