MX-23 vs G30...Help!

I've been playing Mizuno MX-23 for a couple of years. Doing great. Cracked 80 for the first time. Now, I bought a set of Ping G30s, near new, for a song. My intention was to sell the G30s, until I played them. They're great. Now I'm confused. My launch monitor has them performing about the same. Obviously they are irons from opposite sides of the moon. What would you do? How to you assess a change from forged to GI? BTW, I'm 74 and drive it 240, 7-iron 145.

I've played both and the Pings were way better for me personally.

The Ping's are more forgiving. The Mizuno's feel better.

What to do? Why keep both of course. What a silly question!

What hurts your score the most? Putting, chipping, approach or driving. if its chipping or approach shots then give the G a longer tryout. I think you'll be chipping less often with the g in the bag

Demo them for the same time it would take to read all 900+ pages of the G-men unite thread (guessing about three long months). then add your take to the thread.
