Kilspindie vs Gullane #2 vs Gullane #3

I’m rounding out a September trip and looking at Gullane #2, Gullane #3, and Kilspindie (Primarily due to budget considerations, I want to be around £100).  Also playing Elie, Old, New, Jubilee, and North Berwick.

  
 

Is one a significantly better choice than the other?.  I could also get a day pass with #2 and #3 for slightly more than what Kilspindie costs.

My choice would be Gullane #2 but they are all fun to play.

Kilspindie has more thrills than either 2 or 3, but it also has more mundane holes. My preference is for 3 among those three courses. If there is a desire for more golf, I would highly recommend adding Musselburgh Old over 2. 2 is similar to 3, but with less interesting greens. Don’t really need to play both on the same trip. Musselburgh Old is cheap, historic, and quick to play. There are some very cool holes as well.

Thanks!  I was hoping to play both Musselburgh Old and Anstruther as late afternoon 9 hole add ons once I got their as it seems they don’t need to be pre booked?

It’s a better to call in advance. There could be a comp on or a race day.

I really didn’t like kilspindie. Enjoyed gullane courses to play. 
 

I played gullane 3 on December 28 last year and it was short and great fun, quick fun round. 
 

never played gullane 2.

 

gullane 1 has amazing bunkering in a huge field! Can imagine 2 is very similar. I would pick gullane courses over kilspindie 9.5 out of 10 times.
