Really glad that Scotty hired Austie Rollinson.  That guy can design a putter.  Should help make SC mallets become more competitive.  That being said the new lineup is butt ugly.  Hard no

I actually like the 5.5. Is the head more compact than last release? I need heavy weight, but see Billy bob has aftermarket. Why can’t you custom order a steel black shaft from retail sites?

You can custom order heavy weight through the Titleist site. One of the pros in the early releases commented on how it was more compact but no one has actually confirmed this yet including the Scotty marketing material. Scotty doesn't offer shaft options so unfortunately, this would have to be done on the back end.

 

I had my pro order a 5.5 for me about a month ago. I'm not sure if the Titleist rep was able to submit it before yesterday or not. My member/guest is this weekend so was hoping I would have it for that but also not sure I want to throw a new putter in the bag either.

Scotty would be smart to keep producing the 21 models because I don't see these doing very well. The last iteration of Phantom's was perfect, simple and clean, these are just a bit too busy

I don't like the new 9 or 11 but the 5 and 7 look good to me. I think they needed to change the 9 as it was just an 11 without the wings but it always looked odd to me. In my opinion, the old 11.5 with a slant neck would have been the winner in the new line had they not completely changed it.

The old 5.5 in a plumber's neck would have my attention, no silly special editions, just the clean silver with a plumber's neck.  The old 5.5 was one of his cleanest designs ever, a true beauty.  Instead I'm looking at the new Toulon LVch, but that's a bit pricey even.

I was able to roll the new line.  I agree it's busier then the previous generation,  but the 2024 is sooo much more stable and has a heftier feel to it.

I tried the 7.5 today. Feel off the face feels really good. But the putter looked like it sat open to my eye.
