best armlock putters

i am looking to try a armlock putter, which brand makes the best ones (Evnroll, La Golf, LAB golf)?

Best is subjective but lots of options these days:

Odyssey

TaylorMade 

Ping

SIK (leftover stock)

 

See what you can find cheap and go from there.

I have a double wide stroke lab that is very nice, I would recommend it for sure. I have currently ditched the armlock though.

I have several LAB putters even a LAB MezzMax Armlock at one point. I’m not sure LAB’s technology is helpful when armlock putting since the putter is rammed up against your lead arm. If I was still into armlock, I’d like to try the SIK putter because of their multi-loft tech.

Recently, I picked up a Ping Heppler Piper AL on eBay for about $140.00 and there were lots of other choices from major OEMs for $200.00 or less. This approach made the most sense for me because it keeps the investment relatively low in what is at this point and experiment.

The Odyssey 2 ball ten can be found for under 200 and is a great introductory armlock putter. Chances are you will need to get one, figure out your specifications, then buy another one with those specs

There are bargain Cobras out there right now.

 

I have the anser style one.  Because it’s a heavy head with toe hang, it has a lot of torque.  Not sure that’s a good idea.

I've had multiple armlock phases and my main piece of advice would be to have someone bend it more upright for you if you don't have initial success with it. The stock offerings from Odyssey, Taylormade, etc. have lie angles that are far too flat for armlock method IMO. I think most of those are around 72*. In my experience, armlock didn't become effective or feel comfortable until I got around that 75*-76* lie angle. Just something to consider if you try it.

I've tried quite a few arm locks, Sik, Odyssey, Betti, Taylormade, and the Evnroll is the only one that I doesn't feel like I have to adjust my posture, stance, or ball position.  I play my ball just forward in my stance with a slight forward press and with the other putters, the ball was nearly even with my front foot.  To echo @coreyhrabout lie angle, stock lie on the Evnroll was 71° and I custom ordered a 76°.

Fit is more important than the brand in many cases.  For me, more upright worked much better.  If you are broad shouldered, you will need more loft than most standards since the shaft lean gets more extreme the wider you are.   Ask me how I know.   

 

I use an SIK DW.

Go to a LAB golf fitter.  They will hook you up with the right Lie Angle, which (as noted) is very important.
