I'm considering ordering two already (17 & 20).  I have the Zipcore XL's and CBX4's on their way already.  Cleveland puts out quality, affordable gear; If I don't win this, I'll order one and put a Ventus in it.  I can't seem to kick my 2012 Adams out of the bag.  I've tried to get the UW to work (and G430); just too low spinning and low launch to hold greens.  Thanks for your consideration.

Current fairway woods are a ping g30 3W stiff shaft, Cleveland Halo XL 3h hybrid Stiff, Adams idea pro black super hybrid 4h. 

I think I like the shorter length of the hybrid. 

I'm looking for a club that might go a  little further than my 3h but be easier to hit than my Ping 3W.  I have absolutely loved my new Cleveland  3h that I just got a few months ago.  I'd love to see how the 3h compares with the hywood. I really need a good fairway finder from the Tee and something that could work reasonably well off the fairway as well. I've been reading up on the 3hywood as a potential candidate to fill this spot in my bag.

5. I've had the same 5 wood since 2009 and have always struggled with hybrids.  I can't seem to find a 5 wood that really replaces my current one and am thinking a Hywood might do the trick, including being easier to hit from less than perfect lies.

5. Why do you want to review a Cleveland HALO XL Hy-Wood? - Would love to add a more 'hybrid' 5W into the bag versus the hybrid that currently occupies that space.  Hy-wood looks to be the best of both worlds in what I am looking for.  The versatility is extremely intriguing.

I hit my Callaway UW the best which I think is similar to a Hy-Wood.

5. Why do you want to review a Cleveland HALO XL Hy-Wood?
I think this is right in line with the Callaway Apex UW 21* and would like to try the 17* to replace my fairway wood. I can hit my fairway woods fine off the tee but tend to have trouble from time to time going into par 5's and long par 4's. Hopefully the Hy-Wood will be the solution.

5.  I would love to test these clubs because I have not been able to find a fairway wood or hybrid that I can hit as consistently as I would like for several years.  I struggle to hit my fairway woods high enough. I typically do not use hybrids and have always struggled to hit them longer distance than my longest irons.  I believe the design of this club is a perfect combination of the two clubs and would allow me to bridge gap between driver and longest iron with fewer clubs.

I finally broke a Callaway VFT titanium 5 wood and lost an Adam’s hybrid that was an old friend.   I hit them both good.  Now trying to figure out the 170-185 club to replace.  
YouTube channel Mr Short Hitter likes the Hywood, so intriguing.
