4. Off the tee I hit my 3 wood better than my 3 hybrid.  Off the deck I hit my hybrid better.
5. I want to have a club in my bag that I can hit comfortably off the tee and off the deck.  My home course doesn’t require a driver often so a Hy-wood would be an excellent alternative.

3. Ping G425 3 and 7
4. Fairway woods, always struggled with control on a hybrid in every direction
5. Been looking at something like the Callaway Apex UW to get more versatility between the 3 and 7. 7 wood is very similar in total distance with my 4i, which is still useful. Looking for something at the 7 wood length with a bit lower loft, as I prefer to have a neutral face with my hybrids/woods. They Hy-Wood seems to be filling that nice of a good 18-19* club that isn't a 5 wood. I've tried a 5 wood head on a 7 wood shaft and didn't really like it either, head felt too big so this club definitely piques my interest!

3. Current fairway wood? Cobra Bio Cell+/Ping Rapture
4. Do you typically hit fairway woods or hybrids better? fairway woods
5. Why do you want to review a Cleveland HALO XL Hy-Wood? I would give a good review, and I struggle to find a good 3 wood, I've tried about 7 3 woods in the last 6 years and nothing sticks. Would like to give this one a try and see how it stacks up.

2. Handicap? 4.8
3. Current fairway wood? TSR2 15 deg and 21 deg
4. Do you typically hit fairway woods or hybrids better?  It depends, I have hit hybrids great in the past and then went to the TSR2 and haven't looked back.
5. Why do you want to review a Cleveland HALO XL Hy-Wood? I have been debating getting a 4hybrid or moving on from my 21deg TSR2 as I don't feel it is as consistent as I would like. I have done recently a ball review and feel that I could be objective and give the right information about the clubs. I would post numbers comparing current to previous with Mevo+ numbers as well as on course thoughts!

3. Current fairway wood?  PXG 0211
4. Do you typically hit fairway woods or hybrids better?  Honestly it varies.  Misses are worse with the fairway wood but I get more height/carry
5. Why do you want to review a Cleveland HALO XL Hy-Wood?  The spot behind my driver has been a revolving door and really has hurt my game.  I need that both for tight tee shots (and most of the courses I play are very tight) and for the longer approaches.  Most rounds I use that club between 4-6 times.  My hope would be that the Hy-Wood would provide some greater height and spin than a hybrid while giving more control than the fairway wood does.  The tweener nature of that club really makes sense to me.

1) North Bend, WA

2) 1.9

3) Mizuno F50 3 wood; Mizuno JPX 2 hybrid

4) generally like hybrid better

5) This is an area of struggle for most golfers, so I would like a chance to review in order to not only see for myself how these clubs function, but to be able to give advice to others regarding these clubs with the possibility of helping others improve their game.

I am very interested in testing the hy-wood because I want a club that I will be able to hit very consistent and well. Very big fan of Cleveland products ( I have halo xl irons, smart sole wedges, and play seizing balls)
