1. City, State?  Colorado Springs, CO (but moving to the Washington DC area in July)
2. Handicap? 4.7
3. Current fairway wood?  TaylorMade Raylor 16 and 21 degree woods (yeah with the bubble shaft from the 90's)
4. Do you typically hit fairway woods or hybrids better?  I've never actually played hybrids.  I went to get fit but decided I'd stick with what was working
5. Why do you want to review a Cleveland HALO XL Hy-Wood?  Well...my clubs are from the 90's and unfortunately at the end of last year the epoxy on the 21 degree has come loose.  I should also say I've tried a number of more modern woods but have always gone back to my first set of woods.  It seems like the idea behind these clubs is exactly what I'm interested in something between a hybrid and a fairwood wood.

2.  14.7

3.  Cobra (3W), Ping (5w)
4.  Wood from the fairway, and hybrid from rough

5.  I’m looking to find more versatility at the top of the bag so I can adjust wedge set up.  Moved to Cleveland irons last year and like them a lot.

1. City, State?  Memphis, TN
2. Handicap?  12
3. Current fairway wood?  Cleveland Launcher Titanium 3w/5w
4. Do you typically hit fairway woods or hybrids better?  Hit 3W off the tee better, don't hit either one "better" off the ground
5. Why do you want to review a Cleveland HALO XL Hy-Wood?  I would really like to see how different something like the 4+ behaves compared to both the 19o 5W and a 17o hybrid that I occasionally swap between.  Especially off the ground -- would love to have something that I can use for longer shots out of the fairway (or more typically the rough).

1. City, State? Columbus, OH
2. Handicap? 10
3. Current fairway wood? Srixon MK II
4. Do you typically hit fairway woods or hybrids better? Neither
5. Why do you want to review a Cleveland HALO XL Hy-Wood? Appears to be a forgiving and modern head style that may blend well with my swing. Big Srixon fan - have yet to hit any Cleveland clubs.

1. Elmhurst, IL
2. 17.3 index
3. 3 and 5 TaylorMade M6's
4. Do you typically hit fairway woods or hybrids better?  both are better than my irons but, my favorite is my 5 hybrid.
5. Why?  Assuming this is just for the 3+ or 4+ Hy-wood, I don't.  But, should someone want me to test a Halo 7 hybrid, I'm there.

PS- not the first time Cleveland has put rails on their hybrids

4. Both about the same. Inconsistent
5. Will be 70 this summer and trying to find something to fit the 175 - 200 yard shots that are becoming more frequent. Have tested current offerings from Ping, Callaway, Titleist & TM without much success.

3. Current fairway wood?  Ping G430 5W
4. Do you typically hit fairway woods or hybrids better?  I typically hit my hybrids better than my fairway woods.  In fact until recently, I ditched fairway woods all together.
5. Why do you want to review a Cleveland HALO XL Hy-Wood?  This seems like a great option to fill the gap between driver and hybrids for someone who struggles with fairway woods.

5.  I desperately want to be able to hit a fairway wood, but I have yet to figure it out.  I carry a 19* Adams Idea a7 hybrid and hit it great.  Would love to try the Cleveland Halo XL Hy-Wood to see if I can gain some yards over my 19* hybrid and start reaching some par 5s.

1. City, State   Mesa, AZ
2. Handicap 21
3. Current fairway wood Cobra F7
4. Do you typically hit fairway woods or hybrids better - fairly good with both.  Often my hybrids and fairway woods make up for a poor tee shot.
5. Why do you want to review a Cleveland HALO XL Hy-Wood?  I'd like to see just what Cleveland has to offer that could replace both

4. Do you typically hit fairway woods or hybrids better? Typically hybrids

5. Why do you want to review a Cleveland HALO XL Hy-Wood? I've been trying to figure out that end of the bag and have always liked Cleveland clubs. I generally have struggled with fairway woods and the idea of the hy-wood excites me.

3. None (playing 13 clubs)
4. Hybrids, I have historically struggled with fairway woods
5. I have experimented with several fairway woods before and never found one I have hit consistently.  There is currently a large gap between my driver (265) and longest hybrid (220) that I would love to fill.  It is the reason I am only playing 13 clubs.  A club like this could fill the void.

5. Why do you want to review a Cleveland HALO XL Hy-Wood?  I played the original HALO Hybrid 15 years ago.  I want to see how Cleveland’s technology has changed and to see if their fairway wood can beat out the Ping G430 Max in terms of forgiveness and ease of elevating the ball.

2. Handicap? 12.9
3. Current fairway wood? Ping G430SFT
4. Do you typically hit fairway woods or hybrids better? Generally a better hybrid player, but have had good success with the Ping G430SFT
5. Why do you want to review a Cleveland HALO XL Hy-Wood?  It would be great to see if something like a hy-wood could really bridge the 2 clubs enough to add another wedge at the back of the bag for scoring.

4. Do you typically hit fairway woods or hybrids better?    hybrids (though though hybrids only a litter better than 5 wood and up)
5. Why do you want to review a Cleveland HALO XL Hy-Wood?   I loved the prior generation.  Still do.  I am particularly intrigued by the stronger lofted longer shafted 3+ hy-wood. But am curious about the other hybrids as well.
