Course has some real bite. The earlier players had easier conditions.

Still unable to wrap my head around the hoodie thing. If the temps were in the 40s, and a player actually put the hood on between shots, then I might see it. Still think a knit hat over a ball cap would be better. 

 

However, with temps in the 60s, and the wind blowing, I'd go crazy with a hoodie flapping on my neck. Lol.

I don't get it either.. I think it's more of a fashion..   IT must be a new thing for past couple of years.. Even guys are wearing them to the tournaments..

It always seems unfair to get free relief from an immovable obstacle when the player makes the choice to go for a very risky shot, hits a tree and the ball ends up unplayable! The relief should then be a drop shot. 

 

I wish the commentators would stop making excuses for players not performing well...not feeling well, been off studying at uni, not played for a few weeks etc...tough that's life if they are there they are there to play...no excuses and don't repeat them over and over again Pretzel! 

 

Hoping Alison can pull this one off. Main danger is Nelly of course.

Injuries are real and shouldn't be underestimated, nor should conditions like Lyme Disease which ended Sandra Gal's career. I worked with many ballet dancers in the UK and for a long while their injuries were under-realised and even ignored at worst. It took the Healthier Dancer initiative to bring the true picture to light. I imagine female golfers have their fair share of injuries, and not only the well publicised ones.

I wear a hoodie daily when weather calls for it, but definitely agree it would be annoying flapping around after every shot. I've honestly never tried one on the course, if I think about it maybe I'll put the theory to the test and report back with my findings.

Final round just started - most players shooting over par so far. Should be an interesting day...

Love that it is so windy so far today, and getting windier and even harder hopefully later...   Makes for an interesting watch and hopefully the leaders stumble to give the lower rung and "non LA home field advantage" players a chance to move up and compete 😆...

Kind of crazy that a lot of the bad shots yesterday were just poorly executed and not due to the wind. The conditions clearly got in a lot of their heads, though. Sounding like a bloodbath already today, though. 

 

Korda certainly looks to be the most dangerous at the top given that she stays composed most times when near the lead. As long as she doesn't let her mood get away from her Nam, Lee, and Ronnie will need to bring it all day.
