G/Fore Insoles in FJ Premiers

Wanted to see if anyone has done this before purchasing the insoles and testing this out. I have used G/fore Gallivanters for the past two years and this year I got a pair of FootJoy Premiers when I noticed the inlayed outsole with the spikes on my G/Fore's starting to come out. I love the grip on the FJ's, the comfort is getting there with them still being broken in (I have had to tighten my laces multiple times during the past couple rounds). One thing I really miss is the massaging insoles from the gallivanters. Has anyone put their insoles from gallivanters into FootJoy shoes and if so what size did you go with?

Why wouldn't you just throw your existing Gallivanter insoles into your FJs and try it out?

I hadn't yet because they are different sizes, but I will see if the 10.5 insoles from G/Fore work in the 10 FJ's.

Ah. Well, my Gallivanters are 11.5s, and my FJs are 11s. So, definitely try the swap with your existing insoles first.

Size 10 to size 10. Perfect fit. Had them in here for a few months now and they feel great.

I put the insoles from my gallivanters (sz10.5) into my Premiers (sz10) and they were the exact same size and fit perfectly.

Not to thread jack, but does sizing for G/Fore run about the same as FJ Premiers? Or vary a half size either way?  I wear 11M in FJ.

FJ run .5 larger. 
 

FWIW, I have gfore insoles in all my golf shoes regardless of the brand.

Whereas what Rosco said it mostly true, I think the fit of GFore across its different models is all over the place. I'm an 11.5 in the Gallivanters -- and they're snug -- but i'd need a 12 in the 112.G (or whatever they're called), at which point they become too wide for me. The 12 in Gallivanter is gigantic on me in all aspects.
