Any alternatives to Hzrdus Red Gen 4 that is 5.0 or senior flex in 60 gramish weight?

Tried on a lark and for my 80-85 72 year old swing speed works better than a bunch of shafts I tried. Seem all the under 60 didn’t go as far or were as consistent. My miss is a pull and this shaft has been going straight in  2 separate trackman session. Head is ai smoke max d 10.5 turned up 1.

Do they offer a counter balanced option? 
 

My current driver is a tsr2 10* hazrdus red 50 CB. It’s the most neutral feeling club i can remember swinging. 
 

Also, I do seem to hate monkeying with the face angle. This club lets me line it up and swing away freely. I’ve only had problems when overswinging. Duh!

It is counterbalanced, looking to try something similar. In senior and 60 grams

Tensei Orange but they only go down to 55g R.

 

Aldilia Ascent is close profile match but maybe not counterbalanced.

One of my favorite fitting levers to reach for with players who fight a pull is to go up one notch on shaft weight. For most, the added weight helps Sir Isaac Newton shallow them out and get their path more neutral.

 

To your question on shaft alternatives, nothing immediately comes to mind.

I seem to be gravitating toward being "that guy" lately...but, it's been straight in 2 separate sessions, works better than numerous other shafts you've tried to compare it to in both distance and dispersion. So what's the hold up? Why look for something else? The closest in the PX line would be the Cypher but they don't make it in 60g in senior, or maybe the Evenflow Riptide CB, but again, you'd need to go up a flex to get the weight you want. It's not marketed as CB, but I would maybe give a look to the Aldila NVS 55 Orange. It's ~3g lighter than the HZRDUS you were trying, but look at the butt diameter on the thing, it's definitely a bit of a counterweighted design even if they don't say it is.  You could probably pick one of these up cheaply.

No hold up, Its my shaft, so just looking, I like to try stuff. See if something out there is better. Just an old golf ho.

I was fit into a TSR2 11* with a HZRDOUS Red 50 5.0 shaft.  After 3 weeks I decided the shaft was no good for me.

 

A Fuji Ventus TR Red 5R is working very nicely since last fall.  My swing speed is 80ish.  Working on that.

I have a ventus 5r and i find it lower launching and about 10 yards shorter than the 5.0 hzrdous  red 60 cb the weight is close by the cb profile matchs me better. Ive tried ventus blue 5r non velocore, hzrdous 5.5 50, im10 5.5 60, hzrdous rdx 5.5 50 and 60. Vista pro 55 reg, rch 55 reg and a couple more that i cant remember.

 

shaft manufactures seem to only have lighter shafts in senior flex. Too bad.

Very long shot, but call Ping.  Ask if they will sell an Alta CB fairway wood shaft at driver length. When I worked big box retail we used to be able order Ping shafts that came with tip and grip for ~$100.  The Alta CB 65 in senior flex is 56g, only 2g lighter than your current shaft. Even at std 3wd length, it will probably play around 44.5" in a driver. Swap the tip, and you might have your answer.

Can anyone tell me if the stock counter balanced HZRDUS Red shaft in the Titleist TSR2 driver has a removable weight plug installed in the butt, or is the shaft made counter balanced by just adding extra material in the butt of the shaft? Thanks, I'd like to know this before cutting down the shaft and regripping.

I don’t believe there is a butt weight, just a higher balance point for the actual shaft.
