Getting fit while used to jumbo grips

I was thinking of getting fit for a new driver sometime soon but don’t know how to go about it as I’ve been using the largest size jumbomax grips and cant really even use regular grips anymore. I’m assuming I am out of luck short of buying several shafts on my own to take and try out on a monitor with a fitter but would be open to ideas?

 

I thought about maybe seeing if I could approximate my regular grip size by using that self adhesive sports wrap tape (like for sprained muscles ) and building up a grip enough to make some good swings- such that I could put it on and take it off with no damage or residue to the fitters clubs-any thoughts or ideas?

Try using tennis racket overgrip like Gamma. It’s not adhesive, just tacky & you can easily take it off. 
 

I know the feeling, I use CP2 Wrap Jumbos & it makes it hard to demo clubs & get a real feel when the standard grip feels like a pencil

The only way to make it right, is by using the grip you like to play.
Thats why i used compressed air on all my fitting shafts, so the player could use the grip of choice, and i even had Jumbomax (1. generation). 

The problem is, most places who does fitting, ignores this, and their shafts is with standard size grips with regular grip tape, and thats worthless even for a player who uses MID size.

You might ask what the h...are they thinking when they ignores the need for the right grip size and a grip weight that influence on everything else?

Try to locate a fitter who use compressed air for grips in fitting clubs, and bring a grip of the model you play....that will be like finding the needle in the haystack but give it a try, since the same fitter is most likely a tad better than the others when he recognize this as important.
