Retractable Impact Screens?

Are there options available for retractable impact screens?

 

I’m doing research for a possible sim build in our garage next year. I’d really like the ability to easily setup and take down, as we cannot dedicate the sieve entirely to a sim.

 

I reached out to Carls but they shared they don’t have a retractable offering.

A couple years ago i bought mine from thesportscreen.com. They didn't have an all-in-one solution for golf like they do now so i ended up getting the 10' hand cranked hockey/baseball net and attached a golf impact screen using double sided velcro. For side protection, i have ceiling mounted tracks for curtains. Im happy with the setup but if i could do it over again, I'd get the motorized version along with the side screens instead of the curtains

Before I switched to a permanent simulator setup I also used the 10' hand-cranked hockey sport screen.  10 Ft. Hand Crank SportScreen - Hockey - The SportScreen  I attached a golf impact screen over the black hockey mesh and it held up very well.  I rolled the screen down so it would just brush the floor and that kept the screen flat and kept golf balls rebounding back too far or too fast. I didn't add any side protection (I probably should have had it) but I added a ceiling baffle to stop wedge shots that would run up the screen.   

 

I only had to roll it up occasionally so I didn't mind the manual version but having a motor would have been a nice upgrade to have.

Have you checked out G-Trak?  It's a retractable screen that fits on your garage door tracks.
