Let's Talk Fairway Woods - TSR2, Paradym AI Smoke TD, G430

Currently using a TSR2+ 14.5° and a TSR2 21° and considering doing some tinkering. Clubs I am considering are the Paradym AI Smoke TD (how much less forgiving are these?) and also the Ping G430 Max. I like my 7 wood a lot, but don't really get along with the TSR2+. If I stick with what I have I'll probably look to reshaft my current pair, but maybe someone else will convince me to just buy new clubs since that's more fun anyway.

The TSR2 is adjustable, so You have everything You need to dial it in.

But, if your mind is set on replacements, then try before You buy.

I use the TSR3 three and five woods in the southern bag, great adjustable woods, and use Cobra aerojet three and five woods in the northern bag.

Again, great adjustability with these clubs. Having adjustability is my only advice to anyone that is in the market for fairway clubs. It does make a difference. Good luck in your decision,

How do you like those AeroJets vs other woods you’ve played? I don’t care for the look of the DarkSpeed but I do like the AeroJet. Have like Cobra in the past in the 7 wood spot. You have the standard head?

My .02 is test the triple diamond if you are in “scratch that itch,” mode. Get a paradym td from Cally Preowned since you can return with almost zero risk. If you like but have to have the smoke, return and buy smoke version.

I am a LONGTIME TM fairway guy….07 Burner TP, RBZ2 tour issue, M1, M2 DF, and most recently legendary OG SIM TI Rocket for last three years. On a whim bought a paradym triple diamond from preowned and shortly after dumped them all. Never hit a “players,” low spin head this easy to launch, move both ways, hi/lo, whatever I want to do. Mind blowing swap for me!

My vote is OG Paradym TD strong 3 wood and a AI smoke TD 7 wood.

I find the 3 wood to be just as easy as any other to hit, especially off the tee.
It’s fastttt too, yet you can still hit a higher/spinier ball to land soft. It is a little

deeper of a face than say the ping though which could be off putting for some.

the 7 wood is automatic for me. Can launch/spin a bit high. Id actually like it in 19* in a perfect world.

I have a G430 Max it gives me the best of both from fairway and tee. I used to have 410 Max that I played in Big - I play the G430 at standard loft but flat setting.

I had a short fling with TSR2+ in 13 degree. I was a little one demensional with it. Would probably get along with the 14.5 better.

I think the Smoke 💎💎💎 is one of the best looking heads out there. I’ve only been able to hit it with the Denali 80 gram shaft and it’s just not a good fit.

I’ve discovered I really like the flat settings in Titleist and Ping. Good time to buy a TSR2.
