New Align Max Golf Pride Grips

I just received an email about Align Max grips that golf pride is making. They have a higher align spine, supposedly right at the usga max allowed. They are $15 for all four grips they released (MCC, MCC+4, Z-Cord, Tour Velvet). I wish they would just do more standard rib grips. I am guessing that rib grips cost more to make and they can't charge more for standard ribs, because they never have. But the align grips they can get away with charging way more because when they came out they started that way.

I agree that I prefer the ribbed vs the align and wish they would make the in more models(including larger sizes up to jumbo)

Hmmm.  Looks like I might have to give these a whirl when I can get them around here.  Good thing I only have 8 of the MCC Aligns in my basement.

$200 for grips for a set of clubs seems over the top to me but I'm known to be cheap.

I'm not even seeing the ribbed bct anymore.  I know they were part of the deal they had earlier in the year that was 25% off. (I think it was 25%). Wonder if they were closing them out. If so, the ribbed tour velvet would be the only ribbed offering available to regular customers. I know ribbed grips aren't popular with the average golfer, but you would definitely think that there are enough users to justify making a few different models with ribs. Seems like they're just leaning more into the align technology, and charging $13 a grip versus $7 for a tour velvet.

One minor inconvenience with this is if you play with settings on your woods.  I left mine misaligned until I finally found the setting I wanted and then fixed the grips.

These are AWESOME! If you like the feel of the ribbed grip from the 90’s and early 00’s then this is your grip.
