Titleist t200 badging question

Anyone using these comment on the durability or lack thereof of

the cavity medallion on the back of the t200 irons? 
 

seems like they may ding up easily but I wanted to ask before I pull tue trigger

There are reports in older threads here of the backplate falling off.  It's not common, but it can happen.

I got mine before they were released and they still look like new. I don’t ride often so that might be helping them.

I have the current model 2 and 4 irons and the clear coat layer on the medallion wears pretty easily

No dents, dings or badge falling off but the clear outer layer peeled like the quoted photo but only on maybe 2 or 3 irons which I am assuming was due to water left on the back of the club or something like that. Mine have done that and they’re a little dinged up from bag chatter. Never had this problem with my TMB.

I used the T200s with the ionomer backplate for two years and approx 300 rounds; they were pristine when I traded them in.  I’m now a year into the new version of the T200s with the metal backplate; 100+ rounds and also still pristine.  
 

I’ve got scratches on the soles, and wear marks on the grooves, but zero wear showing on the backplates.

My 2021 T200 back plates are still in good shape - no dings, or marks. Bag chatter can happen, but, it may be somewhat bag dependant. (I use a 14 way stand bag, and, almost all of my rounds are with a push cart).

I have "2" T200 irons; my new 17' 2i and a 4i.  Use the 2i a lot, but the 4i is left in storage because I like the T100 4i.  Predicting durability is difficult.  My 2i looks great, and I smack it hard all the time. 

 

I don't know how the back would ding up, presuming the user uses the club face to hit the ball.

I’ve had them a few months and they still look like they did when I purchased them.  No issues for me so far.

My clubs are kept in the trunk, with the rain cover on ALL the time.  I suppose if someone dumps their clubs in a pickup bed without a cover then drives over uneven terrain, they will chatter to high heaven.  I don't see normal chatter on the golf cart causing damage; least it hasn't happened to me and I have T100 forged with T200 in the bag, play 1–2 times a week and golf travel multiple times per year.
