Anyone using wedge shafts not DG?

Nippon or KB users?

As my new irons in kb tours will be coming in, just curious what experiences people had with their wedge shafts.

My first inclination is to use matching kb tour shafts for the wedges, but was curious what experience people had with nippons or other wedge shafts?

I was wandering the same thing a few weeks ago,I have px in all irons but dg,s in wedges.I was searching forum on wedge shafts and found some like all the same for a consistent feel throughout the bag,and some like the feel of a completely different shaft in there wedges since they are rarely used for full swings.I would just try a few different wedges with some different shafts and see which feels the best.

I have all TT Black Gold stiff. Irons and wedges.

i use tour concepts in my wedges and irons. the wedge shaft are down a subflex though. i like these shafts better than both the dg wedge and dg s300 that i've used recently in wedges.

Back in the day, my son and myself used predominantly DG, he S-400, and me S-300. He once ordered a set of Vokeys with Rifle Spinners, and it damned near wrecked his short game, went back to S-400's and alls well.

 

Recently I shafted my wedges with Loomis Tours, a heavy weight graphite from early 90's, awesome shaft for the old man here. I've used Nippon NS Pro 950's in my LW's and they seem to work decent as well. But for myself, it's pretty hard to beat the DG S-300s, just something about the consistency.

Tried a lot of "exotic" shafts and had stuck on DG S-400s until Ari @ Scratch recommended these Aerotech i125s. Great stability, feel, and consistency :good:
