This is an addiction

So, thanks to this site, I am now officially addicted to purchasing and trying golf equipment, both retail and tour. (cool)

Now I need a second job to fund my habit, the girlfriend is asking about the ring, the car is making some weird noise, I'm dreaming of Miura, and there is still lots of stuff to buy and try!!!! :huh:

Anyone else addicted?

By the way, not to get off topic, anyone a regular at the Golf Dome at Salt Creek here outside of Chicago?

Ha! I hear ya! I have a lot of my big brown boxes delivered to my work and my co-workers think I'm bonkers! :huh: Sometimes I think I have gone too far. Then I look at the Pics in the "What's in the bag" folder, and I see my addiction is tame. :crazy: Thank goodness for this site. Now I have other people's sickness to compare myself to!! (cool)

Tell me about it the UPS driver thinks I'm nuts with all the clubs that are being delivered to my office, especially this time of year. This past week alone I've gotten 1 set of Irons and a driver and a wedge.

 

to top it all off i'm winning bids on a couple of other items on e-bay as we speak.

 

My partners think i've lost it too. But they all want to try everything sitting here in my office and ask whats coming next. They live there dreams thru me (cool) :huh:

i sell my plasma to buy golf club. there is a sweet deal on a slightly used 52* and 60* tm y-cutters at the local edwin watts, but i can't sell my plasma again till monday!!!!!

how do you get stuff delievered to your office......that's awesome. i thought packages are suppose to only go to your home address......or the address that matches your account on your card.

I dont buy most of my stuff from a store on line, but if you use your credit card, they ask for your billing address and your shipping address, as long as your billing address matches the one you have given you can have a package delivered anywhere you like. So even if i used my card, i would fill in my home address as my billing address and use my office as my ship to address.

 

I have all my stuff come to my office, i could not ever wait to get home if i knew i was expecting something. And the wife does not see it all, LOL. (cool)

I have my clubs shipped to me at school, and I guess I've had enough clubs shipped to me in a semester that the mail room lady thinks I have a problem......

Hi. My name is Craig, and I have a problem buying new golf clubs. It's been an entire month since my last purchase.

 

I was just at the range today, and I think it was the last straw for my Launcher fairway woods. The Tour Edge Exotics fairway woods look nice, although I'm kind of partial to Adams fairway woods. I don't know how long I'll be able to resist the urge to make a change. :huh:

 

Lucky for me, the girlfriend still lives in an apartment, so I can have my clubs delivered to my house. I just try to work from home the days my clubs are scheduled to be delivered. (cool)

Cool!!!! I am almost always there during the week. I'll be there tomorrow morning for a golf clinic at 10am. I'm the guy with all the TM stuff that occasionally throws a club LOL (cool)

I am definetley a club ho, have lots of everything exceot for 3 woods only 2 the rest at least 6! especially the putter, you name it, I bet you I could find it in my garage! (except for some of the tour bastards! have some though)

Nope, I tend not to look at signatures when they start to inventory everything. (cool)

I, on the other hand, tend to accumulate some stuff as well. And let me tell you guys who are in a relationship, the exchange rate for clubs to roses is not 1 to 1! :crazy:

I use to have it pretty good when I bought new equipment. My wife never paid attention and does not play golf so she would never notice anything new. Well I have a 6 year old boy who is starting to play and he notices everything that is new. It never fails after I take him out to the course he comes home and says "mom, dad got a new club today". Kinda getting harder to hide these things. I tell my wife that I don't do drugs but she tells me that doing drugs would be cheaper than my golf addiction. She is probably right.
