New From the T.P. Mills Co. 1310 Tradition!!

This line has been the focus of nearly every day this year and it shows David's dedication to making great putters.

 

Going to the trouble to mill from forgings is truly a undertaking by itself.

 

Everyone who gets any of the 1310 putters custom or OTR, will truly have a very very well made putter.

Tend to agree that I don't necesarliy find that "affordable". The putter does look very sharp and I'm sure it puts an incredible roll on the ball. I think that anybody who buys one of those putters will have an incredible putter on there hands, I just don't think it's what you would call affordable, especially this day and age with the economy the way it is...

Guys...they came out incredible! No detail missed...from the grip to the head cover...you guys nailed it.

 

And affordable is a relative term. I have friends who balk at a $500 putter....but have burned through 2-3 putters every year that cost $75-$150 each. They have long since gone over what it would have cost them to buy one Mills.

 

Either way...the chance to own such a wonderful, well crafted piece from a company with the lineage of T.P. Mills is a wonderful thing.

it is if you don't want to compromise on the quality of the club.

 

You use your putter in a round more than any other club in the bag, we feel it is the most important.

Personally It does not matter to me who did the forging as long as it ia a good job and the process/explanation is open to everyone.

High maintenance. I'm just not into oiling my putter after every round. It's just personal preference really, but I don't wanna take anything away from Mr. Mills. This is a great product that I will surely own someday.

Regarding the finish...

 

The oxide finish on Mills putters are done in house and in my opinion is the best in the business. I've had several 20 to 30 year old putters pass through my hands that looked like the finish was applied the day before. A bit of maintenance and you'll have little to worry about.

Any chance we will see oil can finishes in the future on these? I think Mills has the best oil cans out there and I would love to see that option available.
