ALDILA NV Vs Voodoo

help - whats gonna be the difference?

Whats gonna be the difference between these 2 shafts -

Contrary to belief the Voodoo and the VS Proto do not have the same profiles - check the site - 3.2 torque on VS compared to 3.5 on Voodoo - so the SVS6 for example is different.

I want a high launch, low spin shaft - what one will be best between the NV and the Voodoo.

I am hoping someone is gonna make me sway towards the NV as it is so much cheaper.

I have a 105mph swing speed - I,ve hit the NV before in heads such as the Ping and Titleist and it seemed to go with too much spin!
But a friend has the NV in his Nakashima driver and it is perfect.

By the way I am going to use one of these shafts (NV65 or Voodoo - SVS6) in my Nak NP-1 460cc 10.5 head.


Help us out here - I hate to think i am missing out on the hype of the Voodoo but.....

voodoo is a mid launch mid spin shaft

nv is low launch mid spin

neither are what you are looking for

what price range are you looking at?

get axiv core black, much cheaper than an altus for high launch low spin, if thats what you want.
