Need help with the bag set-up

I'm a fan of bag 2, except I'd trade the 14 degree hybrid for a 17 degree hybrid. You've got yardage gaps covered from your short clubs up. I suppose you may be able to grip down on the 14 to hit it shorter, but personally I'll take the extra loft if I'm hitting a chicken stick off the tee.

looks like you're locked in to 14* hybrid.....

maybe add an 18*-19* hybrid....and 4-GW-SW-LW

 

avoid creating more than 4-5 degree loft gaps between clubs.

 

or have a few options on the bench and sub in and out based on the course you're playing....

I would say either bag #1 or #2, depending on how well you hit your 2 iron. I personally carry a 56 and a 60, but the only time the 60 comes out of the bag is on a greenside bunker with a high lip. I would rather have the versatility in the longer clubs, but then again, I've never been one who hit great shots with a full swing on a wedge. I'd much prefer to hit a 50% SW than a full 64, but that's just me.

What's your PW loft? 47, 48?

+1 bag 2, but if you like the the 2 iron go with bag 1 setup and maybe even go with the the wedge combo of 54* and 58*

Write down the lofts and space them out evenly. I'm still scratching my head about the 14 degree hybrid though. Drop the 2 iron and find a club around 15.5, 16, or 17 if your 3 iron is 21.

I like bag option #2... would take out the 3 iron and replace it with a 19* or 20* equivalent hybrid (in other words, a #3 hybrid).

Also, you seem to have the 14* hybrid "locked" in on all bag options. Is this going to be your "back up" driver off the tee on narrow fairways? Unless you have little confidence with fairway woods, maybe you should have a strong lofted 3 wood (13*) in your bag's make up and make the hybrids be 15* and 19* or 20*, so you have a nice distance/yardage gap on the longer clubs... just a thought... go with what you feel works the best for you.
