Wedges - 50*, 54*, 58* CG10 Black Pearl

I am looking for a new 4 wood I think I have it narrowd down to

V Steel

As for the 4-wood, I have a v-steel and really like it. It's got a hot face and is good for working the ball. Check into the v-steel because the prices have really gone down since I got mine.

Nice bag. I have the same wedges. As for a 4 wood, I use a Callaway 2004 Big Bertha 4+ wood and I like it. Try as many as you can and just go with whichever one feels and performs the best.

I've gotten flack for them in the past but I refuse to budge. I will always use them. My point is this - what's the most expensive part of a golf bag? - usually the Iron set. Which one never has covers? Usually the irons. I don't get that. Why cover a $200 fairway wood or a $400 driver but not a $800 set of irons. I dont wan't my driver all dinged up and frankley I don't want any of my clubs banged up. Besides the protection, I like the identification of them. By the way I love the pepole that think iron covers are stupid but then they put a rain cover on their whole set when it starts to drizzle. Ohh I get it now a little rain can ruin them or rust them but a nice ding or nick taken out is fine!?!

 

I get your point and I agree with you that are a bit "girly" but the positives far outweigh the negatives. I;m just anal about my stuff.

Nice clubs. for the 4 wood- It's all about the sonartec. The new LS-99 is supposed to be good. The NP-99 is good as well. As for the iron covers- I hate to say it, but it's the dumbest invention ever in golf. The only reason I cover my clubs when it rains is to avoid rust otherwise, I let them roam free ;) . If your that paranoid about dinging up your irons, a individual iron (the one thats the most dinged) can be bought in place of it for little over one hundred dollars. I don't understand why some people go crazy over scratches on their irons. Besides, a weathered set of irons always make you look like a pro! :D :fool: :) . Just my .02

Love the fusions. I had X-14's before and not only wer ethese lighter and longer but they felt sweeter. I think callaway has them way overpriced and will not sell as many becuase of it but they are really nice.

Wow. Quite a set up you have there. I see you are a Callaway fan so as far as a new four wood you may like to try the new X Fairway if you get the chance. Golf Digest's choice for fairway woods in this year hot list and when I got a try of one about 10 days ago was very impressed. The V Steel and Fusion fairway woods are also very good and I would reccomend them. Good luck in your search.

i love the iron covers. i would use them myself, but with all of the air time my set gets i might lose the covers, lol. great setup good luck this season.
