Its our money... I have a staff bag. I modified the bag to be a carry bag. I took the straps from an old bag and put them on my bag. I walk with my bag and try to play 27 holes on the weekend.

You do know people play in carts right, and more often than not people play in carts every round they play.

 

I think it's an awesome looking bag no matter what your doing with it and would compliment anyone I saw with that bag on the course.

Why not carry a staff bag, it's a matter of personal preference. I don't mean to start a keyboard war here, but does it really bother you to see other golfers carry different equipment than your own? Is your game affected, who cares? I too carry a stand bag, as I'm a walker, but I could give two hoots about what the next person carries. Just play your game.

As a matter of fact, I walk about 75% of my rounds that I play. I either carry my Titleist stand bag or put the staff bag on my speed cart. The other 25% of the time I ride due to course restrictions or to speed up play.

 

Why do I have a staff bag? Because I like the looks of it. No need for further explanation or arguments!

maybe this thread is for the old, out of shape wanna be tour players.. because where i'm from only players walk, and i have NEVER seen a player using a staff bag!! only those who think they can play. in fact, most of the really good players use "sunday" bags.

so my apologies to all the "posers".

golf is a form of excercise and riding in a cart defeats that purpose of having a nice 5 mile walk.

No, this thread is not for the old, however the thread is for the golfing community. And while I think it's great to be able to enjoy this wonderful sport while reaping the benefits of a 5+ mile walk (for those of us whom are able and for those of us who chose to do so), for many people, carrying a bag is not necessarily in their best interest. There is nothing wrong with your personal preference in choosing to walk and carry, but don't judge those who don't just because you don't agree. Where is the benefit in making people feel bad because you have an issue with their equipment?

I ride most of the time and I carry a stand-bag. I also have a couple staff bags, but most importantly I mind my own business when is comes to what someone else wants to carry or not...

 

If I had a cool Word not alloweded staff bag like yours, I'd rock it to. I think it is awsome!

You are right sir. The PGA Tag is just the partners bag tag. The other two are Pewter Titleist Hole in one tags. Still have not got a chance to play and with temps in the 20's and snow tomorrow, who knows when. Hopefully springs gets here soon!
