Yeah the x forged isnt really a blade, still a players cavity

I see that a lot of you guys play blades and I have a few questions. A lot of you are trying to get into college play for golf and every score that you put up matters. With the blades you don't have anything to "lean back on" if your swing is off in a round so why wouldn't you play small forged cavity backs for that little extra edge on those bad shots?

In answer to your question.... I know i play blades for a couple of reasons. What you say is true, one bad shot can ruin your round with such small, unforgiving clubs, but you pull one great one off...... To be totally honest and not to offend any one, but if you are having days were your score will be that affected by the equipment you use, in this case blades, you shoudnt be using them, so its your own fault. I also play blades as they just fit my eye and look so much better than even the little cavities you get, say on the MP60s. Hitting those compared to the MP67s is off putting because they are a little bigger and have more offset.

So to sum up lol, i play blades because they feel nice, easy to work, and look so much better. In my opinion, unless your off 5 or less and are a good ball striker, your not going to get all out of them that you could and should stick with players cavities.....

dude, i play TaylorMade MB TPs and they feel like cavitys. They are the easiest blades I've ever hit.
