At GolfGalaxy or Golfsmith?

Can you still buy single sleeves at Golfsmith or Golf Galaxy?

Golfsmith used to give you the dozen price divided by 4 instead of gouging you for a single sleeve. Dunno if they still do it.

I want to try the Srixon ZStarX and Burner TP, but I don't want to invest in a full dozen.

My two local Golf Galaxys sell most balls by the sleeve. They are in the front case by the register.

Same with at the Golf Galaxy's in Minnesota. They have sleeves by the registers.

 

Don't know, but I'm guessing that if you don't see what you want, they'll break a dozen open for you. Especially if you're going to try three or four different kinds of balls.

I was at Golfsmith and was interested in trying the z-star. I went over to the stack of dozen boxes, busted one open, grabbed a sleeve, and walked to the counter. Rung up for $10. Walked out the door.

Yup. GS in my experience is the easiest to deal with as far as selling you a sleeve.

 

If GG is out of the ball you want in sleeves, they have to go through a process like looking up a SKU first, print up a price label, etc. For some reason, they cannot bust a box open, grab a sleeve and scan it. Again, this is based on my experience from the stores in my area. Thanks.

Golfsmurf's by me have sleeves at the checkout counter, but not the selection they have of full dozens.
