Patience...I've seen Beta...Slice wants it to be first rate, but also user friendly for the non-computer types...It will be terrific...just lots of things to do for Slice and the website is just one of them...

Hey Guys: What timing! I just saw this thread AND I just this very day finished the chapter on the pivot. That was one of the last "holdouts." Slice and I are doing a video conference tomorrow night so he can fill in some gaps for me and after that we are about 2-3 weeks away from finished.

Then I head down to TXK so he and I can do all of the final revisions and then we need about 50-60 more photos and then this baby is DONE. Exciting, at least for me.

So are you figuring it'll be all done sometime in the early fall? I know after you complete it you still have to send it to the publisher, but when do you anticipate the actual release of the book?

Thanks for all the hard work you and Geoff have put into this. We're all very excited about it and how it could positively affect our game!

I am going to start the process of securing a publisher next week. I've looked into it in the past few months, but then Geoff and I thought we would give that over to an agent. Now, I think we may do it ourselves. I have written up the prospectus and have the sample chapters together, so I may just mail them out next week and see if that can work out as we finish the last bit of writing revising. An autumn publication date might be a bit tight, but then again, the press might really want to hurry things along. The book will surely be done sometime in late August, depending on when I get down to see Geoff, and after that it is out of our hands.

I'll update you guys on the webpage in just a bit. I'm not sure exactly how and when we are going to get that up and going (there are a couple of options) but that might be ready to go sooner rather than later. Lots of high quality video with Geoff and I demonstrating things (him teaching; me as the student) in ways that will be new to even the most avid slice fans. In short, we are getting close on all fronts.

OK, I've got everyone.

I just finished writing up the stuff on putting, and now have a bunch of stuff to revise into the section on the pivot. Geoff and I have gone over the transition and impact again, so I suspect I have a bit more to do on that. Then we are looking very close to having a completed manuscript.
