Srixon AD333

Just an all around great ball at a good price IMO. Soft feel, good distance, and spins around greens very well for me. I think this will be my ball for awhile. I have tried the AD333, TM Burner TP, and Bridgestone E5+ and have settled on the AD333 due to price point and overall performance for me. Think I'll go order a few dozen right now !

I wholeheartedly agree, played around with alot of others (no, not the z-star) but the AD333 is my fav. I will say though that I have yet to be able to get out and play with the Trispeed's and Z-URS that I got to test.

Have to agree -- its an excellent all around ball and, at its price, a great value as well. I find that the Srixon balls, as a general rule, just feel good off the putter and roll true. I alternate between this ball and the Trispeed as my gamer. Plus, when I can, I'll play a Z-URS if I have them.

TriSpeed scuffs too easily - AD333 is my new "early spring and fall" ball - at the price, a lost ball because of wet ground or leaves don't bother me so much! - the URS is great with maximum stopping and soft-touch putting. My new ball - Srixon -

I love the Srixon Trispeed and I should try the AD333 to see how it plays in the cooler spring/fall temps here in Eastern Canada.

Totally agree. The AD333 is a great ball and ideal for autumn / winter conditions. For me it does everything well and is unbelievably good value. For such an affordable ball it feels great off the putter too.

A couple of years ago there was a ball test in a british golf mag, the AD333 had driver/wedge spin rates smack in between the pro v-1 & x -the only thing it lacks is the same amount of "grab" on delicate pitch shots. An amazing bang for the buck!

I don't understand the pricing strategy here. From the looks of it and the reviews, the ad333 to me would be the ball in the $25 to $30 range. However this ball is sub $20.

 

Is this due to the ionometer cover on the ad333 or just the fact that its a two piece ball? The tri-speed is higher priced but doesn't get the rave reviews the ad333 gets.

 

I'm moving away from the ProV1 due to too much spin off of the driver and around the greens. I hope I didn't just waste $20 on these ad333.

 

I am getting plenty of distance out of the ProV1. I need a ball that spins less for those bad iron shots and when I Miss with my driver during one of those bad ball striking days. I went out looking for the soft feel but only found the ad333 and tri-speed then the higher priced Srixon balls at my local golf shop.

They seem to be having a promotion going on now. I was at Golfsmith yesterday and paid $12 for a dozen of AD333. When you buy two dozen they even throw in a Srixon golf towel.

First time trying the ball and I was impressed with the distance and feel.

I've seen a few references to cooler weather temps for this ball. What makes a ball more favorable for cool weather vs hot weather? Never had heard of that before. Thanks.

Just stopped by my local Roger Dunn and they had a deal going on. Not sure if this has been posted before, but they were 2 dozen for $24.99. I think this is a pretty good deal for this ball, almost $1/bal.

This will be a decent ball in the Fall Winter when I don't want to play a premium ball. However I need a little more spin around the green.

 

Decent distance off of the driver. Nice feel and not too much spin.

 

Irons had a nice feel too but not a lot of spin.

 

IMHO this ball is priced right and leans more towards a better feel and straight flying ball over control with irons and around the green with wedge.

 

I think I'll try the Z series next.

Just picked up 2 dozen for $25 like others have stated. This is a great deal especially since I wanted try these out. I normally play Tour i or Z-Star. I wonder how mch spin would I lose compared to them?

well I can't afford to play expensive balls, so I couldnt pass up 2 for 25. Picked up 2 dozen, I'm going to play 2 rounds this week and probably stock up on them while they are on sale.

I like the AD as well. I've been playing Bstone RX's and Burner TPs, but couldn't pass up on the 2 doz for $25. This ball has been in the Srixon stable for a while now. I'm sure they are getting ready to update it, but hope they don't change it too much. It's usually my winter ball, but at this price it is now my summer ball!
