Well then a steel shaft should be a great fit for you. You'll definetly keep it low, and due to the weight it may be a little shorter. As far as a 5 wood, look at Titleists. They generally have the weight focused fairly close to the face, keeping the trajectory low. Hope this helps.

Sonartec NP-99 with the factory installed Aldila NV shaft, this is avery boring flight for a 5 wood. I play mind when the wind is up, the flight is lower than my hybrid. You do need a pretty solid game, though. It's not real forgiving, it demands to be hit solid. Also, make sure the shaft is the NV, not the NVS. The latter has a much higher flight...

my specs are pretty standard i just feel perfect with the shorter shafts helps alot to and have not notice any distance loss but just have the 3wood and driver short

ive yet to try the 905R because of lack of sale yet here in virginia and still getting it

today all the comments ive herd were good about the R so looking foward to it, knowing my swing im sure it will be a boring flight but a littel higher and more carry than my S

the titleist PT or 970 would be perfect the have a nice high center of gravity so it keeps the ball down

these clubs also need to be hit soild or the results will be spread out

I second the 970 for having a great boring trajectory. The 970 is definitely not a forgiving club, so make sure you try one out before you buy it (this may be a little hard to do). The club has a different feel than you're probably used to. To me it has a feeling closer to an iron than most woods I've played. Also, if you want to get your trajectory down look at heavier shafts with a higher kickpoint.

I play a Titleist 980F and it's got a very boring trajectory. It's great because the harder you swing, the straighter, not higher, the ball goes. I can swing as hard as I want and still not have it balloon into the wind. I also find it very easy to work both directions. It's a fairly small head size, but I find that just by finishing higher or lower with my swing I can make shots flatten out and run a little or hit them high and have them stop super quick. Hope this helps.
