Tiger himself said on Saturday that he does feel pressure, that if someone isn't feeling pressure in a major then they probably shouldn't be playing. He said he thrives on the pressure and gets a rush from it.

Actually he did. Took the wrong gameplan into Saturday's round. That was where he needed to bury the field and have a 5-6 shot lead going into Sunday. Instead he let them chop the lead from 4 to 2.

I was talking about today's round. I already have stated I was perplexed as to why Tiger wasn't firing at pins Saturday and thought he should've.

Some people seem to be very, very far removed from reality.
Let's see:
Going into the final day with a 2-shot lead, shooting 3 over par, losing by 3 shots. 3 putting the same hole both on Saturday and Sunday. overshooting the green on both the penultimate and the final hole, not getting up and down from no more than 30 feet on both occasions.
Those are the facts.
Now let's look at the possible assessments of those facts.
If Phil Mickelson does something like that, Tiger lovers say he choked.
If Sean O'Hair does it, Tiger lovers say he choked.
If Tom Watson does it, Tiger lovers say he choked.
If Lee Westwood does it, Tiger lovers say he choked.
If Padraig Harrington does it, Tiger lovers say he choked.
If Sergio Garcia does it, Tiger lovers say he choked.

If Tiger does it and soemeone says he choked, this person is called a Tiger hater. How come?
Will some people please pull the bone structure that contains their brains out of Tiger's behind and look at their own posts from the past?
Your super-human idol simply couldn't read a putt correctly all day and wasn't able to control the distances of his iron shots.
He is still the best player in the known universe right now, maybe ever, but why is it so d*** hard for Tiger fans to admit that he simply played badly (and not only by his standards) on Sunday and blew it?
There wouldn't be any "Tiger haters" if there weren't so many totally uncritical Tiger lovers.
Oh, and one question:
English is not my first language, but I always thought that it would be correct to say "A hates B", not "A hates on B".
Can somebody tell me, when those rules of grammar changed?

Choke or not, I don't think Tiger hit the ball as well as he said. He looked good off the tee, but didn't stuff many shots. No doubt the putting was an issue.

His body language on Sunday reminded me of this year's Masters - lots and lots of grass in the wind. He looked a little unsettled.

Actually, Yang choked. The approach shot he hit on 16 was really bad, worse than any TW hit coming in. It just goes to show that not only do you need to play well and putt well to win a major, but need a few breaks along the way. Which makes Tiger's previous 14 for 14 streak that much more amazing.

Its not a choke when you hit it to 15 feet bro. Had he sliced it badly into the water Id agree. Now back to TW. Im inclined to lean torwards a choke job, especially how bad he putted, two three putts on 4 on the weeked was terrible. His wedge game was terrible, look at #7 for instance. I wouldnt say it was a flat out choke but it certainly wasnt as good as he was calling it.

I am one of the biggest Tiger fans.

He choked. Dropped 3 strokes on Sunday and shot a 75. (I'll be generous and recognize that he should have made par on 18 if he did
not go for the chip in, so let's even say 2 strokes and a 74) but he went backwards and Yang moved up.

He blew the lead. He was up 2 and lost by 3 strokes. That is a choke in my book. It's not like Tiger shot par and Yang shot a 69. If Rivera does this in the bottom of the ninth, he choked as did Tiger. It was not the biggest choke in the world but a choke nonetheless.

Did not make the putts. Some bad brakes, sure, but bottom line is he missed several nice birdie ops.

Flew greens. Seemed to be above the hole a bit.

Did not rise to the occasion as Yang took the lead.

What does it mean? Tiger is human.

Bottom line. Last 3 starts, 2 wins and a second.

He played 3 weeks in a row, I think this was a mistake.

Anyway, I expect Tiger's goal next year to be to win 2 majors to make up for this year.

Yang almost choked. If his was ball had landed *literally* a few feet shorter it would have been in the drink on 16. But he won and that's all that matters.
