The B330RX is a very nice ball, but not a premium ball IMO. For the price, it doesn't have the green side spin that it should have for the premium price. If it was priced at $28 per dozen the price point would be appropriate.
I was just gonna say the same thing.....If your going go for a Bridgestone ball save you self some cash and try out the E series..The 330RX is a over priced 3 piece ball IMO

The RX balls is MORE EXPENSIVE any where in the mid-west USA proshops including Golf Galaxy, Golfsmith, TGW....
At Edwin Watts a dozen RX's are $42.99 and a dozen Titleist Pro V1's are $45.99.
If you buy the RX you are better off just going with the E series!!!!!! The RX is only a 3 piece ball where as the Pro-v1 is a 4 piece,,, there really is no comparing!!!!!!!!!

Srixon Z Star...better feel and better performance than both of the balls listed.

If you have to go with either/or...330 RX and it ain't close. Pro V1 just isn't the best performer anymore, unless they are paying you to play it.
Totally agree. I have extensively tested all three and the Z-Star wins hands down. It's longer and straighter off the tee, softer, more durable and spins just as much as either. Great ball.

I really wanted to like the B330-RX but was disappointed.

In normal or soft condition i play B330-RX but i prefer PROV1 when greens are firm .

My SS is 90mph , RX is longer higher and has less side-spin .

all bridgestones suck. rocks compared to pro vs
Agreed. I recently compared the RX to the 2007 ProV1 that I normally use. My swing speed is high 90's and I was consistantly shorter with the RX off the tee. I even lost a couple yards on almost every iron shot as well. Around the greens, the RX spun about the same as any ionomer covered ball. The NXT Tour spins more on shorter shots. To top that, it was very hard and still scuffed worse than the prov! It was like I had just hit directly into a brick wall. No excuse with a cover this hard.

The only plus was that it was a bit straighter of the tee. The RX is the most over hyped ball I have ever played.

Played my first round today with my brand new Scratch wedges. Started out with the B330-RX, really no difference off the tee or mid-irons. What I noticed on several shots from 100 yards and in was that the ball would check, but not stop. It would trickle out another 10-15 feet (our greens are very firm and pretty quick).

What sealed the deal was a little flop shot I had that was around 18 yards. I picked the ball perfectly and expected a one-hop and stop. The RX kept on rolling about 8 feet past the hole.

I changed to a Pro-V1 on the next hole and had a similar shot with the 60*. Ball hit, bounced forward about 5 feet and spun back about a foot for a kick in birdie.

When it comes to greenside spin, there is no contest. Pro-V1 wins hands down... It isn't even close as far as I am concerned.

I agree 100%. I had the same experience Saturday. I really feel that this ball cost me a lot of shots because it just would not stop on the greens. I am going back to TM TP Red or black. I tried the Penta. Good ball but for $45 a dozen the TP Red will do the same job for me.
