3. Better direction and alignment afforded by new V design of fibre insert in combination with new MacGregor diamond top marking.

5. New two-tone red and black calfskin or new Tri-Tac grip.

MT Super Eye-O-Matic woods are carefully hand-selected from the finest persimmon and custom-crafted by skilled club makers.

What a set. Those are probably the nicest of the Super Eye O Matics IMO. I think there is also a Penna Model which was also super, what a refinish on those. I'd like to know who did those?

NOW that's what I am talking about........Sweet Set Drewspin! I played the Driver and 4 wood for years. I still have my 4 wood. I had a hand wrapped Nuewman Leather grip in Maroon that I installed on it and boy was it tacky! DG stiff was the shaft of choice and I had the same color. Boy, the black ones sure did not look to good. As for the TP version, yes I have seen those before.

Nice!!!! How do you like these? I found these on Ebay about two years ago. As luck would have it, I was the only bidder and got them for a song.
I don't think they've been hit. Amazing quality and craftsmanship.

Ahhhhh, very nice. The 1960 PT1W (or PT2W). This was my choice for the woods for the 60's. Lee Trevino played the PT1W for many years in the late 60s and early 70s. I believe he won a major or two with this driver. Outstanding set, setup, etc, etc, etc. Gotta love seeing these old classics!

Nice Super Eye O Matics. They look to be in nice shape too. Worth? I'd say in the neighborhood of around 150ish. give or take.. The Classic persimmon market isn't what it was once.

Sharp looking woods.
Your probably right about the "market not being what it once was" but today, I just enjoy learning about the woods like (1) Texsport and Woods Bros., (2) Greg Norman and M43's and more recently (3) MacGregor "swan necks" models. Learning about repairing, rebuilding and refinishing persimmon woods has been fun but frustrating at times.

Hate to threadjack, but does anyone have spare decals matching the graphics on the crown of Drewspin's woods? Have a swan-neck M60W with the same insert with the decal flaking off.

Dynamite Super Eyes. You are right about the improvements. My only complaint is that they used the decal on the crown instead of stamping them. But other than that...what can I say?
