name your "must play" orlando courses

hi guys,

I'm stuck here in snowy Denmark, in northern europe. There's no golfing going on, so I decided to spend some time planning my next golf trip instead.

my friends and I are going to be playing 7 days of golf, and are looking for help deciding on orlando courses. this is where you guys come in.

What are the absolute "don't not miss" courses in orlando - we're going to be playing at least 7 different location - prob. 36 holes a day - so bring on the courses! (Value for money is important - greenfee rates shouldn't exceed 150 dollars per round). a few words describing what's good about the individual courses would be great.

We're probably going to be renting a villa in Kissimmee, but any recommendations are appreciated.

[b]Southern Dunes[/b] is close to Kissimme so don't miss playing there.

If you want to play 36 holes a day I would play the following places:

[b]Reunion [/b]Resort has three excellent courses not far from Kissimmee.

[b]Championsgate[/b] is just down the road from Reunion and has two nice courses.

[b]Disney[/b] has four courses if you count the brand new Waldorf course.

[b]Orange County National [/b]has two very good courses and is just a little further away.

[b]Mission Inn [/b]is about a 30 minute drive and has two courses. The El Campeon course at Mission Inn is one of the best in the area.

[b]Grand Cypress [/b]has three courses. The New Course is a tribute to the Old course at St Andrews in the style of a links, or at least as close as you can get on that poiece of property.

If you want to spend a day or two North of Orlando I would play [b]Deltona Club, Sugarloaf Mountain, Victoria Hills and Timacuan[/b]. They are four of the best in the area.

I think that should fill up seven days with some great golf.

+1 for Grand Cypress after working there for two years there are no better courses in the area

Hows the new Waldorf Astoria, is it a new course or did they buy one from disney?

The Waldorf course is on the premises of Disney World, but not owned by Disney. It is a Reese Jones course on the land that used to be the Pete Dye Eagle Pines course.

I would definately hit up Reunion, I have been down there twice in the last 9 months and love it down there everyone at the resort is great and the 3 courses offer a lot of variety. If you can only play one go with the Nicklaus as it is a complete beast.
