Anyone has any inside scoop on what is being released (OTR) in 2024?

 

I believe it is time for phantom series? Any pics would be great as well. Thanks.

If history is any indicator the phantom 7 series will get the plumbers neck, unsure if the current models will get a refresh with that new milling.

Rep didn't have any pictures when he stopped by the other day but the Phantom X page on his PP presentation mentioned the I-Beam Neck technology being included into all of the .5 slant neck models. No mention about a plumbers neck being introduced into the new update either.

Finally the 7.2 will be a true limited... Haven't seen that since the T22.

I misread the post saying no plumbers neck. I’m hearing there’ll be a plumber neck coming for 5 and 7 given their growing popularity.

Everyone is expecting it because of the 7.2 release but I’ve talked to a couple people who know what’s on the agenda and they’re saying no plumbers for 5 or 7. Maybe Titleist is just doing a really good job at keeping it under wraps.

This. I would bet that the new line will have the milling form the Super Select line, I beam neck and a few new neck options. I bet the 11 gets the slant neck and plumbers necks are introduced.

My guess would be a couple of the models will also come in a plumbers neck. I am hoping for black finish but doubt that happens...he could really throw me a bone and add a teryllium insert to a couple models. Maybe a silver backing instead of black on some of the putters kind of like the tour models?? Maybe a new head design or two? Feel he has to give more than same exact heads with a couple PN options.

Anything you think of that would be awesome and people actually want, you can bet that it WONT be on the yearly models.

Imagine if Don surprised us and released a new teryllium line up with classic head shapes, increased MOI, different alignment options and minimal gaudy stamping.

I think SC is firmly in the "if not broken, don't fix it" line of thinking.  His putters sell great at retail and do well in the (damn) collector's market.  Until that changes, I'd expect every release to be similar.

So I will stick with my Long Neck TEI NP2 because nothing on earth can touch it for my stroke.

Take a regular Super Select NP2 and send it to NorCal Putters, he does long neck putter conversions...prolly cost you $300-400 not including the cost of the putter if you don't already have one.

 

I have a Phantom X5 that I was sending him shortly, between the conversion, new milling, tour dot, new shaft, and some paint I think I was looking at around $600 because a few of the extras.

Yup same, looks way better than the current 7. If we can get a 7.2 with that shape I am very much in.
