Gibbo's 2010 Bag

One for the Mizzy fans.....

I have completed the bag for 2010 this week so I thought I would take a few pics today and share. I bought the 68's at the back end of last year and added the new MP woods over the last couple of weeks.

I am really pleased with the 68s and used them for a couple of rounds before the UK winter came but feel more solid than my 67s from last year and a bit more forgiving. The MP 4 wood I am really pleased with it and two rounds in have hit some of my longest fairway wood tee shots ever - the ball just flys off the face. The Hybrid looks nice and compact and a fair bit smaller than the old clk but sets up nice and square.

Love the set up the new woods are so awsome, I'm thinking of getting the 5wood,anyway. How are u liking the wedges? I ask as I need new wedges but I am worried that they will get messed up quite badly as they are forged and I live in quite a sandy area?

Hey Gibbos, fantastic looking set. Did you have to special order the 16.5* wood? Just wondering because Mizuno doesn't have that loft listed on their website. I've been looking for something in the 16-17* range. I had a chance to look at the MP-630 yesterday. I have the MP-600 and it seemed like the 630's head size appeared smaller at address. I really like that the 630 is available without the weights. I never use the weights on my 600. I wish the 600 would have had that option too.

The fairway is a fanastic club, the wedges I have only played a couple of rounds so I am getting used to the shape and feel I have come from MP R's which I have used for the last 3 years. Local courses are clay and they have lasted really well. I have a 56 that has been used a lot for practice and winter golf and it still looks good after 3 yrs of use.

16.5 degree appears to be a European option and not on the US website. I guess you will have to speak to your local rep to see if they can get one for you or have it imported from the UK. I agree about the 600 I played with the weights a couple of time but basically had it neutral and hit it so the 630 without weights was a no brainer for me. The 600 is a beautiful club at address but I was never really impressed by the E360 Fujikura shaft. The 630 head looks slightly longer from address but has a real classic profile.

I've never seen that bag before, it's disgustingly good looking! It's the same color scheme as mine too...but mine is mainly all Titleist.

that is a great set up (I am a huge mizzy fan). I love, well, everything about your bag. I just wish mizzy would have kept it with the blue and white.

Dude that is a freaking sweet set up. I love the colors. Also nothing can beat the feel of Mizuno irons. I have a all Mizuno bag as well come and check out my set up I am hoping to get a new stand bag for my birthday but I like going with the Mizuno Staff color
