LH 2005 TM Rac TP...what can I expect?

I have a set of these coming tomorrow (hopefully). I've read the posts on here but can't really find any from lefties that have used them. I understand that there were 2 models..milled face & non-milled. From the limited pics that I saw mine will be non-milled. Were the LH any different from the RH? Were the LH all "tour" issue? What can expect from these clubs...feel/forgiveness.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Wowww! I've been gaming these for about a year and have been trying all the new equipment out there but these are my favorite. Great forgivness for the thin top line and sole. Nice soft feel, not harsh on mishits but you can clearly tell how your hitting the ball. Little offset is great at adress. Blade look and feel with cavity back forgivness, and most I'mportantly they look great in the bag !

I was weak for a few weeks and almost sold mine. Thank god i was fitted for some new irons becuase i had the wrong shaft in my CB's. Installed new shafts and have fell in love again. laser straight. Dont fool yourself these are not that forgiving. They are a true players club. The miura forged are so soft and feel great. My set is milled faces except for the 6 iron and let me assure you that the milling makes no noticable difference.

I absolutely love my 3 sets, down to 2 now that are collecting dust because of the groove change rule. had both the swirly faced ones as well as the regular and they both feel identical..... I would never have switched to new irons if I didnt have to.....

I gave my set away to my friend. Fantastic irons.. Really nice set, that still demand a decent price these days. Real soft forging, and really easy to work the ball.

I got the irons today and they look great. The set is well used...but have plenty of life left. 3 of the irons have milled faces. They do feel soft...as much as I can tell from bouncing a ball on the wedge. I'm not sure if my game is good enough to use them regularly...but it'll be fun trying.

Good luck with them! I had 4 sets (2 milled, 2 non-milled). For me they went a little high but I think it may have been that the heads were too light on my gamer set. Definitely a timeless set of LH irons.

Weir won the masters in 2003.

I worked on a set of these a while ago for another WRXer and have played a set of the RH models. I have owned blades that were more forgiving. They felt extremely hollow and unsolid, even on dead nutted shots. I felt the '04 RAC cb irons were a much more solid club.

I hit mine a few days ago. Felt great. These heads are soft, solid players offset. The sole grinds have a good amount of leading edge grind to help from digging.

Heel to toe they have the longer "modern day blade" dimensions. Last forged cb Tmag made in US.

They are in the "Vault" as a permanent keeper.
