Dial-up beware!

I found myself looking through an old computer for some pictures I thought I saved, but didn't. While searching I ran across some 'oldies but goodies'. All the pics below have been posted at some point and time at one of the various forums. I'm sure they were all the hot item at the time. Without making my head sound too big, many of the pictures below where the first looks at many of the items - including the 510 tour.

I got a kick out of these pics, and thought others may as well. Most of them are nothing special, but still fun to look back at was once the hot topic.

If you've got pictures of the 'lost and forgot' items that we once use to love, post a few. Might be fun to look back over the years - kind of like a timeline of the golf forums..

wow what a trip down memory lane... that was like a "where were you when" of golf message boards.

 

I haven't been on these boards as long as some, but it would be really cool if someone put together a collective history of internet golf chat. I think it would make an interesting read how the different sites sprung up of each other and also how different equipment moved in and out of the limelight.

Thats the DNA AS. It was a great driver. Being a club ho, it didn't stay long, but it did shine while it was there. KascoPro has a very nice collection, and I still get to hit a AS from time to time - great driver and almost as importantly, it looks pure from address. I have attached the other pics from that same group so you can see some other views of the AS. I posted some extensive reviews on BSG about the AS, but that was close to 2 years ago when they were still Proto. Kasco has moved onto other things now, but their products are still amazing. Its sad they don't get more play time in the standard publics bag. The only reason I've played them is because of KascoPro, who worked under Mclean - whom you mentioned earlier.

I remember that Bobby Grace deal. It sure was a tremendous deal and I actually used mine for about a year or so until I got my Mills putter.

 

Chris I remember talking to you during that entire ordeal and how much H E Double Hockey Sticks you went through for it, and it was mucho appreciated.
