1) This year, which shaft brand do you believe has been the most popular on the PGA Tour?

Fujikura

2) What golf shaft brand is the hottest at retail?

UST (V2)

3) Which shaft brand would you like to see most in an OEM head?

UST (V2)

4) In your opinion, what are the top shaft companies (in order of position)?

Fujikura, Mitsubishi, UST, Graffaloy, Aldila, Graphite Design

5) Do you buy a shaft based on price?

Not entirely on price. I look for the best performance I can get at a price I can live with. So far, the V2 is CLEARLY a winner here.

6) Which category best describes your spending habits on golf shafts (less than $100, $150-175 range, or more than $200)?

Single shaft: less than $100; annually: More than $200

7) What shaft is for players seeking a higher launch?

GD Purple Ice and YS-6, Aldila NVS, Fuji Tour Platform, Graf Blue PL, Fuji SIX

8) What shaft is for players seeking a lower launch?

Aldila NV, Graf Blue, Fuji 757, UST ProForce 75

9) Any other comments/suggestions?

Yes. To UST, making the V2 85 a "Tour Shop" only item was a mistake. The 75 works well in modern drivers and alot of people have gone with other shafts rather than pay the upcharge for 10 or so extra grams for a s;ightly heavier shaft for their fairway woods. The 95 and 105 are fine there, but you are losing alot of sales on the 85 for this reason.

Kudo's to the company for delivering such a great shaft at a great pricepoint. My prediction is that with OEM's offering the V2 and decent Tour usuage, in a year or two the V2 will be the best selling, most popular aftermarket shaft in golf.
