1 round in Austin in Sept.

I'm headed to Austin, TX in sept. for a UFC event and am looking for one round to play. Doesn't matter on price, just looking for the best track in the area. Coming out from Scottsdale, AZ. I've seen other Austin threads, but the majority talk about close to work, close to home, etc. Also thinking about heading over to TPC San Antonio. Thanks!

Awesome. I appreciate the response. Anything I need to worry about that time of year as far as conditions/overseeding etc?

Fazio Canyons is a good course, but if you have an eye for more traditional courses then you might consider Wolfdancer at the Hyatt Lost Pines resort.

A little too early for overseeding. Should still be great turf conditions in September. And still summer hot as well.

I just played the Fazio Canyons last month (I played the Foothills last year) and I can honestly feel that the Canyons is the best course I've played in Texas. Great layout and in great shape. Makes you think a lot. I'm a big fan of We ko Pa (played both courses last year) and think that Greyhawk is bland if that gives you any sort of reference since you're from Scottsdale.
