Why are for sale posts deleted without feedback to poster

It keep happening and I cannot figure out why

I have tried twice tonight to post my callaway x-20 clubs for sale and neither has made it through the filter. Can we at least get feedback on why?

Try reading the rules. You won't have to get much further past the first one to figure out what you're doing wrong.

OK - In the interest of clear guidance: Are you saying I have to pay to post an ad (line 1 above) or are there other rules in play here?

Here is rule 1 from the BST Rules...

1. You must have 75 posts to create a new Golf related product Ad in the BST or PM Gxgolfer for paid alternatives. ClubWRX members are exempt from the restriction (to join look on right column). Users can pay $5 to get their Ad approved if under 75 posts. Please PM Gxgolfer as he will need to know their paypal email address. The BST is for Golf Related items only.

It appears that you have 10 posts. So you would either need to pay the $5 bucks, become a golfwrx member ($25 I think), or be more active in the discussion boards to get your 75 posts.

In your case, without having 75 posts or being a clubWrx member, you would have to pay $5 to list an ad.

There are also 14 other rules in place that will need to be strictly followed as well. Violation of any of the rules will result in your ad being pulled.

A lot of people think this is harsh, but it came to this because of the abuse of an otherwise free service. We had people that would join the site just to sell and never participate. We had people listing non-golf items (like a case of razor blades!) to circumvent eBay fees. And we had people with dozens of open ads trying to bump their stuff to the first page.
Enough was enough, and the zero tolerance policy of rules violations was put into place.

No need to be rude guys -- you gain nothing by going there (I expect that from the BMW forum, not from GolfWrx).

Note: I posted twice previously pre-rule change and while I read the rule and noted the change, I interpreted rule one as payment required for posting "Reference" Ads, rather than for normal ads. My bad.
