I will second that Dr. Pino is a beast when it comes to this. As someone who has been on WRX for sometime...these threads are pretty rare. But the integrity of the BST is correlated to the action taken by the mods in instances of scamming or ripping off of fellow wrxers.

I tip my hat to those guys. They may get a bad rap from some of the more sensitive people with regard to censorship or whatever, but they are right there in the mix when it comes to finding out who scammed who. These threads reaffirm to me why I feel safe in almost all transactions here on WRX.

FYI I would never, ever gift a payment to someone unless I knew them. At that point when you gift you have no recourse if the deal goes south and to be honest I don't blame Paypal for that as you are attempting to skirt their fees for service. I would shut you down as well. The percent that is charged is minimal compared to the risk that you allow when engaging in that. To be honest if someone is asking for a gifted payment, I would not even deal with them. Immediate red flag to me. Add it to the price or split the difference....

Anyhow. Dr. Pino, and the other mods who work on this are the reason why the BST is what it is. Yes we do have a great core of traders, sellers, etc. on here. But if people were able to get away with scamming on here, sans sicking the dogs on them, the BST might not be where it is today...a pretty safe place to do some trading and buying.

"hijacker" is now requesting payments be made via Western Union Money Order. Most recent attempt had this info:

another person months before. be wary of western union payments only
