I have a 19* with a flighted rifle (7.0) cut to my 3 iron length, and I absolutely love it. From day one this has been a gamer. Very reliable off the tee, straight and long. A little more tricky off the turf, I just have to remember to play the ball a little forward to get the ball to flight higher. Highly recommend this club. My friend has this for both his 2 and 3 and he really likes the stock nv in the 3. Check ebay there listed pretty often and fairly cheap.

Thanks, how does it play out of the rough?

Haven't had a very good opportunity to see. Not much rough on my home course and in most cases it hasn't been the right play. In my case, i don't believe the 19* of loft is enough loft to dig a burried ball out. If it were sitting up I might give it a go. It plays more like an iron than a wood or rescue club, and is best suited for good lies and tee shots. If your looking for a club to help with longer shots from the rough a rescue or wood type hybrib is probably the better bet. HTH

I use the TourStage Airmuscle 21* w/S200.

Fantastic club that replaced my 3 iron. It looked great next to the 690MB I used to have in the bag. It plays like a forgiving forged iron, as it was intended. The loft and low COG help it out of the rough but as stated above, from a buried lie a rescue type club would be preferable. This club is great for those long par threes and it does not balloon like some hybrids do.

i was hit and miss with the club. i loved it off the tee on tight holes, but i just hated it out of the fairway for some reason, felt really hollow and light even when i smoked it. I even lead taped the hell out of the thing and just never fell in love with it. Honestly its probably the second best iron-hybrid i've hit (mizzy fli-hi II, and i'm guessing the new mp fli-hi is going to be killer). But the adams idea pro is in the shop now waiting for its V2 so hopefully that will keep me from having to buy a mizzy mp fli-hi.

I have a 3 Iron bent to 19 degrees. It has the NV 85 shaft cut down an inch and it's an absolute missile off the tee and on par 5's. bend the club to a lower loft was the best thing I did. It feels better off the deck without a ton of bounce and lets you dig a little more in the rough.

I think all three people on my team have theirs bent as well.

I have a #3 with a Pro Launch Blue hybrid 85s.

I also have a Fourteen HI 858 #3 with DGS300.

Haven't been able to hit either one yet since New York has reverted back to becoming Ice Station Zebra (anyone remember the film?).

Anyway, is there someone out there who has hit both and can he give a little comparison between the two??

Had it in the bag for over a year. Loved it off the tee, was alright from fairway, and didn't even think about hitting it from the rough. Didn't perform so well for me out of rough.

Just picked up an adams a2ts 21*, and am so impressed with this club that it's bumped the 21*airmuscle out of the bag. The adams doesn't have the same feel as the airmuscle, but trumps it majorly by being much easier to hit. Even bad swings go straight and high. I love the look of the airmuscle in the bag, but the performance of the a2ts has bumped it out of the bag.

Mine is still in the bag just be careful with the stock NV shaft as the spec can be all over the map. My stiff flex actually measured out as Senior flex. I love this club from the tee and fairway and don't have any real problems with it from the rough, mostly just user error. I ususally hit a high ball so this club flights nicely for me. Definetely recommend cutting it down a half to a full inch and decreasing loft a bit to reduce bounce. Most importantly there is no leftward bias as in other stock hybrids.
